We’re announcing a beta program for our newest bare metal, high performance computing (HPC) nodes in Canada.
Our HPC Nodes have 10GigE network interfaces, incredibly fast SSDs, and very powerful processors. The hosts are extremely low density and designed for high, consistent performance.
In our limited testing we’ve achieved over 1GB/s of write throughput and 200K IOPS, making these servers ideal for databases, financial modeling, big data analytics, rapid development, and high density mail and web servers.
Since this is a beta program, we’re offering these nodes at heavily discounted rates to encourage you to use them. These can be for development and production, although we don’t recommend using them yet for anything mission critical that requires higher than 99.9% uptime.
After the beta concludes, you’ll be “locked-in” to the discounted rate for the life of the node. Our beta HPC Node packages:
